One of the main features in the monitoring of the facility for security purposes is the use of closed circuit television (CCTV). The system installed by SICTECH FIDELITAS will use technology which is compatible with any CCTV system already in place and will complement that system.

Two types of cameras, fixed and mobile (domes), will be used. Fixed cameras will be installed inside and outside the facility, that require the display of single targets such as passenger’s arrival, corridors, the access to restricted areas, safes, etc.

The control and command of the entire BCS is centralized in a single integrated security Control Room. As all the security subsystems are integrated, monitoring and control is provided through a single vigilance computer system whereby:

• CCTV cameras are monitored from the control room.
• Alarms from the Passenger Biometric Control System are distributed to immigration and security officers.
